Radon is a radioactive gas that comes from the natural breakdown of Uranium. It comes from the soil, rock and water under your home. Radon typically moves up through the ground to the air above, and into your home through cracks and other holes in the foundation. Radon can also enter your home through well water. Your home can trap radon inside causing high levels of exposure. Any home can have elevated levels of Radon. This is especially true in Colorado where the ground contains larger quantities of Uranium than other parts of the country.
Radon testing takes a minimum of 48 hours.
